Boy, talk about synchronicity! About a month ago I posted a video here called The Story of Cosmetics narrated by Annie Leonard, who is best known for another similar video story she narrated 3 years ago called the Story of Stuff. Both of these videos are part of something called The Story of Stuff Project. These animated videos are designed to educate and enlighten people about the environmental hazards of many of our lifestyle choices. It turns out that the Story of Stuff Project has also created another video called the Story of Bottled Water. I think this little video does a good job of summarizing the problems inherent with drinking bottled water and it makes you think twice about the subtle ways in which we are influenced by advertising and marketing into making choices that may not be in our best interest in the long run!
